      Finally!!!

Hey guys ive been a member on here for a small time just watching and dreaming but tomorrow im finally getting a 69 camaro to start on.

I sold my Z06 today which saved me a bunch on monthly payments and also gave me the chance to buy a project car.

its a 69 camaro that someone was starting to build a drag car. no motor or trans but its already mini tubbed with a 4 link suspension , rear coil overs and 9 inch. 4 wheel disc brakes. it has a 4 inch fiber glass cowl hood that ill try to sell or trade for a regular height cowl hood.

thanks guys. it's gonna be a long process, but paid for and it's not gonna cost me anything sitting in my garage like my vette did.

I'm hoping that 4 link suspension will work for a Pro Tourer.

Great looking car Denny! You can blend your ZO6 with your 69 like this guy did with a 2002 ZO6 chassis:

Thanks Rich. Yeah that'd be really Sweet. My main mission was just simply obtaining the car which was a big achievement for me. good thing is now when I'm looking around on here it's for a reason other than dreaming.

      Update

I am getting closer and closer to getting the car driving. I ended up with a aluminum 5.3 and a t56 with 411's in a 9 inch. This has been a super tight budget build with me doing the work and fabricating myself. I am right about 17k into it counting the purchase of the car. Thank god for the great advice ive gotten from the good people on here and the sales department in forums and on Facebook oh and good ol craigslist lol

Progress is always a good thing. You should start a build thread in the Project Updates section.
