Circle ports on header, square ports on head.....

Is it possible to run like this? I'm having some scrapeing problems with the full length headers I have, so I'm looking for a medium length header that fits a 68 firebird that has an early 80's chevy small block which has square ports on the head, but while I look up headers for a 68 camaro (for obvious reasons) it seems all the ports back then were circles. so is it possible to run circle port headers on square port heads? maybe have to message the header ports a bit to make the circles more square?

Measure the exhaust port from corner to corner, then measure the header inside diameter. If the mesurements are the same, you should be fine. If this is the case, you could open up the exhaust port on the roof and side, to make a D port. Leave the floor alone.
