Can this be fixed or replace 1/4??

I got the car almost 2yrs ago it had a 4" crack on the rear 1/4 I just never messed with it. Today I got a hair and thought lets see what's up with it. Well after about 20mins waahlaa!!

Replace! If the parts are readily available. The hours required to straighten all of that mess will be a lot more than the hours to just weld on a new qtr skin.

You will be better off replacing the quarter.You can try to repair it, but it looks pretty ugly, and who knows whats hidden under the rest of the paint on that quarter! Dig in to the C pilar and see if that Has alot of filler in it as well. That will determine if you will need a full quarter replacement, or just the skin.(from the body line down.)

Cave it and pave it.... :>) I would replace that. I had similar damage on my 64 (full quarters are not available) and I sectioned in part of a quarter skin.

Yeah that's what I'm looking at from OPG. The passenger 1/4 seems good but after about puking when I seen the drivers side I really don't wanna go too deep on the pass. side. I need to find a body shop in south Texas that's not going to stick it too me. What kinda of price should I expect to pay for the full 1/4 replacement.

Beyond the price of the 1/4, I would think you should probably see about $70 - $100 range per hour of labor, possibly more, but that would depend on the going rate in your area. Your best bet would be to grab the old yellow pages and start making phone calls to get quotes.

Well piss the "Complete 1/4 panels" are not available and have been in tooling for 3years now. They will probly never see the light of day is what the tech told me from OPG...

Did you try Goodmark or Year One? Not sure if they better, worse, or the same manufacturer as OPG, but might be an option...

I tried a few basically they're the same parts just different prices, found a company on Ebay Tamraz's that's about $100 bucks cheeper than OPG.

You can now get pre-mixed body filler in a caulking tube.Just pull the trigger and smooth it out.

That's half the battle! You're in. Enjoy spending the money. It's always more enjoyable with the wife's approval.

What kinda of price should I expect to pay for the full 1/4 replacement.

On my first '67, I was quoted $400 for the quarter and $1500 for the install. Boston prices.

585 for the 1/4 and tail panel shipped, Ill have it by next week or the following they're on back order. I was quoted one place 1100 for the 1/4 and instal, but they were over charging on the 1/4 by 100 bucks so I called around and got someone else.
