      C5/C6 Corvette UCA dog bones

Does anybody know where I could find the dog bones or cross shafts that the upper control arms mount to the chassis with? I have seen them with bushing kits, but not by themselves. I am not certain I am calling them the right thing.

There was another thread on this same question not too long ago. Not being a Corvette guy, I'm not sure what the answer was. Might try "search thread" if you haven't already.

I think they call them bow ties.
      I remember the other thread.
I can't remember his name right now but the guy building that really cool Chevy Astro had a nice diagram.
Not sure if he made them or bought them.

I found the thread. Looks like they are indeed called bow ties. I have only seen aftermarket Pfadt sets and while nice, they are pricey. The search will continue.

Vette Brakes sells some as a kit for the front. I have heard they have a tendancy to squeak if not properly lubed often.
Also I emailed Pfadt to see if they will sell only the front, but they won't seperate their kit.
      Hope this helps

I may go with the VBP kit. That is pretty reasonable.

Any other cars that use these bow ties?
