      C4 and Stall

I have a C4 with a 3000-3500 stall. Have heard that with a high stall, the tranny will not shift hard through the gears even with a shift kit. Any truth to this? Doesnt make sense to me, but have heard lots of complaints. I have never run a high stall, this will be my first...I like my cars to give you whiplash though even if just cruising.

the trans will shift "softly" under the stall speed of the converter due to converter slip. once you are above the stall it will shift hard.
      good luck
