After searching out a good deal for a machine that I wanted I found one on eBay. I must say while this battle isn't over I am really impressed with the whole processes so far. For those of you who don't know what this machine does take 5 min and youtube "Pullmax". Those of you that are in the know already have a good idea how useful this machine is. Weighing in at roughly 5840 lbs it was rather challenging unloading, moving and arranging it given the size of my shop. I included pictures of the machine and a collet wrench that I cut. Once things progress with this I'll keep up dating this forum as to the mods I've made to make this machine functional. That is a regular size Redbull can next the machine to give you a sense of scale. In two weeks I'm moving shops to a better lay out. While the machine is outside I'll degrease and pressure wash this thing.








The tooling you see here is configured for shearing. I'll have to make an offset spacer instead of buying a lower center tool holder. This machine takes 25mm tool stock.



I made this collet wrench out of two piece of 10 ga CRS. I had no intention on paying $75 for a wrench someone else made.


This is the collet nut, it's roughly 3" in diameter to give you a sense of the size. Everything on this machine is big.


Almost a perfect fit!


Quick sanding with a worn out disc leaves a "polished" look.
