Are you shooting for SM legal or CP legal or anything goes SU? 2700 is lowest,lb for 5 liter CP. 2800 in SM but allowances can bring it lower. But tough to do legally.Info for the curious.

Look forward to see you out next event.Bryce..WE had a lower turn out of PT last event 2 in SU one ran X.Hard to compet with popular Vintage races across town.I saw the PICS you took of the Whistler GTO Mustang ,From Coronado Speed fest.I watched it race in Del Mar Grand Prix in the 90s along with the Blue and White 4 rotor RX7..Loved those IMSA GTO classed cars.I also saw them at Laguna Seca the GTP cars were awesome then,V8s Rotaries turbo fours and six. all at one time. Music to my ears!

fast but not fast enough. Neal in the red 240 ran a 64.5. Utterly annihilated Jonathan (red m3) and I. Ill get there though with a little more seat time, that's the biggest thing Neal has over me, as soon as I get that down and make the switch to Hoosiers, it's all over in SM.

Brett you were working the course during my laps right? Was I braking to hard at the end of the downhill straight.Right before the left/right into the slalom.I was never able to see that part of the course.

BTW Are you planning on seeing the movie RUSH this weekend.?

Well my front used Hoosiers gave up, and I don't like the BFG R1 on front Hoosier on rear combo. Get ready for a real witches-brew used tire front/rear setup next time out!

I worked the first session not yours, so I didn't get to see you through the downhill.

Not this weekend, gotta wait for my girlfriend to come home from school again, she wants to see it with me.

After seeing the movie now.It doesn't have all the details found in the "Hunt vs Laud The Greatest Racing Rivalry..that I was hoping for.Like Ron Howard said you would need a mini series to get it all. Also you can't film action like Grand Prix 1966 anymore..to much liability issues.Still a great movie!

What I saw at the SDR-SCCA.com/solo2 Forum Practice list is Brett M ,Mark G in Group A,,,,,, Gerald L in Group B No listing if that is the work group or run group. So I don't know if you guys made changes.

What I didn't noticed at the online signup .Is the 93 DB DQ warning? Must be under 93 DB 50ft from course..Around 9 laps for a practice day.More if there is time for "FUN RUNS"Also at the online signup was FREE OVERNIGHT CAMPING FOR ENTRIES! Qualcomm Stadium Parking lot.I knew you can do it, didn't know it was okay to announce it..More reason for folks from out of town to come down for both days.If Gerald L is who we think it is. I bet he is planning for both days.

I'll be signing up for both days to probably group c .During the weekend I hope to see the Vintage Chevy Truck and a Few vintage Camaros we know of.Plus a 66 Fairlane.Wheres that brushed Metal 63 Falcon?I think there is another 69 Mustang wanting to join the group to..Chad?

BTW Saw RUSH for a 2nd time..It was GREAT! Enjoyed it much better the second time

I'll be there for the Champ event on the 20th. Mustang has a new true-trac, so no more peg-legged holeshots!

the practice list on the forum is not accurate to what run group were actually running. Mark and I signed up from Run Group B. Work the first group run the second. the 93 DB limit is not on the Motorsports Reg page but it is on the flyer...

I'll be there both days getting more seat time.

Brett, I would jump on this if I was going to keep racing the Mustang, but I need the 2K this cost (and that welding eqip) for next years track car, project Valiant!

good point haha. what class are you planning on running the Valiant in? Thanks to Agent 47 supplying parts for next season I'm going to be either forced into CP or SU. Only problem I have with CP is that wings are not allowed and I can't take the wing off since it was donated by Roush-Yates lol

We are still trying to work Warren for our own class, basically SM or SU rules but with pre-78 cars only

Plus why would he want that when we can get him into a Hotchkis Trackpack for a lot less?
