      accessory shut-down during cranking

Im brainstorming a pushstart system for my car and after reading a bunch of push start threads I notice no one mentions how or if they shut down all all the electronics but the coil during cranking. Is it really necessary? I was planning on running a toggle switch for ignition anyway so I wouldnt flip it on until after the motor is already cranking.

I think the main one you'd like to kill during crank would be electric fans. Most other accessories don't draw very much and won't hurt cranking performance. Be careful not to disable fuel pumps or ECMs. The fan could be locked out with a simple relay system.

It's easy to do with an ISIS system. I set up my last ISIS install to only run the ECM, TCM, fuel pump, coils, and injectors while cranking.

Yeah the fans were the main thing I was concerned with... Easy enough to wire something up to kill those. Thanks!
