Newb from Nor Cal
Hi everybody. I have been registered on the site for some months now but have neglected to introduce myself. My name is Garrett and I am 20yrs old. I live in the small town of Auburn California and I am a psychology/administration of justice major (student). My (and my fathers) project is yet another 69' camaro. I know how rare they are on this site, LOL. We started the project 3.5 yrs ago when I was a junior in high school. At this point the car has a 450hp small block and a t350 tranny. The front end is completely redone with polyurethane bushings and a hotchkis swaybar. It has QA1 coils in the front and hotchkis leafs in the back. The color is a custom mixed charcoal with shaved marker lights, custom spoiler, and exhaust cutouts. As for the interoir, we have a DSE dash with phantom gauges and dynamat everywhere. As of now, that is my ride. Like I said, the project is a father and son thing. I do all of the research, make the orders, find products and help the the grunt work of the car (i.e cleaning, sanding, preping, etc.). He pays for it. In the long run, I get the car. I know I am spoiled! LOL. With this being said, I would love any info i can get down the road. Thanks for all of the help!

I ended up with a local company called "Roman's Upholstery" Their work is awsome and I am getting a fully custom interior and trunk for about $3,500. Frankie was a good guy, but, just too expensive. And this shop is about 3 minutes away from my house.

ya, I am going up on fri. and sat but, the car will be here. Are you going and taking your car up? where will you be? ya, it was a pretty good deal and I will for sure post pics when it is finished!
