Some pics of the 10" sub and box mounted under the package tray (can't be seen outside of the car and is removable by a few bolts), YEARONE package tray was too tight with the 6x9 dropped in (see pic) so I fabbed and welded in some recessed pans for added clearances.

Cutting out the firewall to welding in a flat panel. I followed the cowl contour because I wanted to be able to get welds on the backside (interior) for added reinforcement. I figure covering with a flat sheet or have unclean inaccessible welds on the inside could be prone to rust/corrosion. Still needs body filler and sanding.

I hated the A-Pillar bars in the S&W Kit, so I mocked up some bends and had some custom bars bent. The bars follow the pillar for future gusset plates and allow room behind the AC/Heat vent to pipe back up (required trimming and heat gun shaping to lay the dash up to the bar). Metal part of the dash is extended to wrap around the bars so the dash can push back into it. Since I won't be running front speaker on the dash (moved to doors) I filled the holes. Body fillered and sanded the area smooth.
