      Hi everybody

      Just saying hello

I just turned 32 and trying to decide what to do with my 55 210

It was basic hot rod/driver 350sbc, 4 speed, 10 bolt peg leg on drag stars. Fun car that looks great but i am torn. Make it a drag car with a bbc and buy a vette or camaro to make for a touring car or turn the 55 into my touring car and buy something else for a drag racer.

I have been reading a lot and figured it was time to make a post

Make it your pro-touring car. As an old friend used to say, "Camaros are like belly buttons. Everybody has one." I love Vettes, but they don't have the character of a pro-touring 55.

55 Chevys are actually lighter and smaller than most people think. Mine is almost 2 inches shorter from bumper to bumper than my 74 Nova. The full frame makes it more rigid than most uni-body cars. There is also no shortage of go-fast add-ons for it.

      Go for it!

      Thanks for the welcome

I have not forgot about posting pics just been super busy.

After doing some searching i would love to duplicate Doug Cooper's 55 only with an LS motor.
The stock interior bench seat with a 6 speed and 700hp - the thought has me drooling
