Potential buyer may need to pass on the engine.

Here are some pictures. I have one showing the spider confirming the roller cam

That would be a long road trip for him,I drove 5 hours one way once for an engine and 12 hours one way once for a truck,I bet that would easily be a 25 hour trip one way for him, but with a group of good friends it would be alot of fun and a good story.

I drove to Infineon Raceway once and it took 44 hours non stop...two drivers with 8 hour shifts. Never doing that again.

Would you be willing to ship it? I know others said they didn't want to deal with that, but it's unclear whether you're ok with shipping it. Thanks!

I'm not sure how you'd do it either. I'm guessing it would be a bit much to ship to GA! Year One quotes like $150 or so, not sure how you as an individual could ship this thing freight to me. :-/ I'll look into it!

I have bought several engines before that had to be shipped, it's not too hard at all.... The last one we bought came from Texas and the cost wasn't too bad...

First you have to mount it to a Palette with a 3/4" plywood bottom, bolt the engine to it using steel flat stock and also throw a used ratchet strap around it for good measures.

Then you will have to cut small blocks of wood and screw them to the bottom of the palette so your sides have something to screw to. You basicly have to build a box around it but it's not too hard when you have the palette to bolt the sides to. Once the engine is bolted to the palette and the box is very secure then it's ready to ship.

Getting it into a pick up truck and getting to the large UPS hub store for weighing and a shipping quote will be the hardest part. I would say a couple hundred bucks and it could be shipped Anywhere!
