Muncie will it work?

Hello everyone .. a couple of questions first a little backround 69 firebird with 400/4sp muncie converting to a ls3. I have a line on a 22thousand mile ls3 running in a 08 vette. He wants 5k does this sound fair? also I would like to use my rebuilt muncie four speed and drive shaft to cut down on cost is this possible? thanks in advance Phil
