Miranda Lambert's new video with Danica Patrick and 69 Camaro?

Haa anyone else seen MirAnda Lambert's new video for Fastest Girl in Town'? I'm Miranda fan so naturally, I like everything she does. This new video is great and I love the song. Danika Patrick is in the video too! However, they chose to use a really nice stock (looking) 69 Camaro. The girls steal the car and there is a chase scene. I was hoping for some burnout, tailspinning awesomeness. But, it looks like they were being very careful with the car. So, my thoughts are...if this video was made in Nashville, someone should have called Brian Finch and used an awesome car that would have rocked the video. One that would have involved tire smoke, donuts, broadsidedness and a great sound. I mean...I'm sure Danica can drive meaner than she was in the video. Even if the video wasn't filmed in Nashville, there are lots of bad-a-- cars all over the country (pro-touring preferred) that would have been awesome. My thoughts for this morning..have a goodun'.

I agree with done above posts which I why I wanted to voice my thoughts. They should have stolen a bad -ass fast car, drove it Like they stole it (not test driving it) and it should have involved the owner to getting into another bad -ss car to catch it...including the popo. You know...kind if like other good car chase scenes.

You guys have to remember that is only a music video and only meant to entertain the general Country music fan that still watches the Dukes of Hazzard and thinks it is great (chase scene and performance wise). Much of the Gearhead classic car guys are happy with 250 rwhp and stock suspension

I appreciate stock cars, I really do. But, I also appreciate a marketing scheme (and this song is believe me) that doesn't take me for an idiot. Those people were not driving like someone who stole a car, or had one stolen, and that big arse Ford, even with the keenly placed boost gauge pod, is not my ideal chase vehicle.

Having said that, anything that supports hotrodding works for me, it just could have been EPIC.

Nothing at all, If I ever win the lotto I am buying 2 general lee's (1 mint to cruise and 1 to run the dog crap out of)

And sure it could be cooler they could have used guns to steel the car in Bikinis then blown some suff up with explosives while eating beef jerky then once they escaped they could make out. BUT I doubt that will happen. :(

i take this to offense hahaha. im not a country buff, however i love the dukes of hazzard. a friend scott owns a real general lee. he purchased it from ben jones (cooter), it was the shows hero car ( means it never got beat on). scott fully restored the car to all its badass glory. they beat the holy hell out of those cars on the show. the chase scenes are not too bad. plus the jumps are cool ! besides the general lee is the most badass car in history... just ask my 3 yr old boy. thanks to 01 , he thinks muscle cars are the coolest now !

I like country and I like rock. I can go from Merle to Nazareth or Chevelle or AcDc for those my age. Contrary to popular belief, I do NOT watch the Dukes of Hazzard. I did when I was young but I don't care for it now. By chase scene, I was thinking something like Gone in 60 seconds. I am a little ashamed of this video. Market scheme? Yes, but only to boys who are clueless. And for you guys wanting bikinis, a ripped dude in a bad car with a few threads on that catches them would have been ok too. :-)
