suspension advice.. new to the whole pro touring thing lol

Hello names Greg i live in oklahoma and have a 69 torino im going to be building into a pro tourer i will be on a budget and was looking from some input from you guys as to what front and rear suspensions are the best bang for the buck and those that are a lil more comfortable on the stree as in oklahoma we have some crap roads lol. im trying to avoid cutting out the front shock towers if at all possible but if i have to i have to. as for engine it has an edelbrock headed windsor in it im bout to swap out the c4 for a BWt10 4 speed i have laying around and it already has front disc but will be adding rear disc pretty soon then start the suspension work. Eventually i will be putting a more modern drive train in place but not sure what i want to run quite yet.

Thanks for any help or insight you guys can provide
