      T5 to LS3

I currently have a T5 trans, no hydrolic clutch hooked to a 383 stroker. Considering going to an LS3 but cant afford to change transmissions at this point but something I may do in the future.

Will i have any problems getting the T5 to mount to the back of the LS3 block? I assume I will need a new bell housing. Is that a good assumption? will I have to go hydrolic clutch?

      Thanks

Is yours the Camaro 15 degree canted trans? If so, you'll need a 621 bellhousing to clear the LS1 clutch which will leave the trans at an angle.
You can use a z bar link but you'll need an adjustable stud and longer throwout bearing.
A little info with part numbers:

Yes, the tranny was designed to set at an angle to towards the drivers side. It currently sets upright which throws my shifter over to the right more than I would like.

      Thanks for the tips.
