      Bought a Rick's Tank!! 1978 Camaro

I had a hard time running down someone to mod the stock tank for my 78 camaro...decided to get a stainless tank from Rick's Hot Rod Shop....I like the idea of having a bolt in and go tank, but it did cost alot of $$$

Anyone else have one of these tanks? Did I make a good move??

Not for a 78 Camaro, but I put one in my wife's 70 Chevelle feeding a ZZ502. Bolted right in and the in-tank pump has never given us a problem. Bought one from Rock Valley for my 69 Camaro, but thought the quality of the Rick's tank was much better.

Well, the long awaited Rick's Tank showed up the other day. A very nice piece. It didnt come with a sending unit though...For $1300 I would think it would have

Does anyone know where to get the fuel level sending units for the Rick's tanks?

No, I bought from Summit, but worked the deal with Hector as well... He emailed me today. I got the part # I need for the sender unit.

That is why I asked and knew what your answer was probably summit or jegs. When you buy direct or through one of his small shop dealers such as us, you get the sender included.

My problem was nobody made a cheap tank for the late sec gen like Spectra does for the 70-74...I basically didnt have a choice and needed one from Rick's. The downside is I didnt have the cash at the time to put down, Summit Provided me an option with the Speed Card...

It just sucks, that I really didnt budget for such an elaborate FI tank, and now I need to poney up more money for for a sending unit really sucks...

Don't second guess your purchase with Summit. You probably got a better deal even without the sending unit. Plus, the best part of it all, you didn't have to follow up getting your stuff! They have awesome customer service! Enjoy your ride buddy!!
