      Corvette C2 VetteRod / RestoRod

Hi everyone. I was referred to this forum by the folks at the Corvette Forum as I am about to embark on building a RestoRod out of my 1964 Corvette Roadster. I recognize that many on this forum are building Camaros and other muscle cars but I believe there is a lot of information I can learn from this site that will help me in the design stage.

Here is what I have so far:
A Street Shop custom chassis with C5/C6 suspension, vette brakes ordered and I am awaiting it's arrival around August

The chassis will have a new LS3 400 HP crate mated to a TKO 5 speed manual. A rock valley gas tank, stainless fuel and brake lines.

Much more to come. I hope to blog the chassis build as soon as it begins. In the meantime I have been collecting hundreds of sources for products and services toward that support the RestoRod movement and have stored it on my website for everyone's use and inspiration toward Corvettes. Looking forward to learning on this forum.
      Cheers
      Dan

Sounds like a cool build .
The C2's and C3's look so good when they are built to a Restomod / Pro-Touring style ..
      Keep us posted .
