My toolbox fell into the side of my car

For Christmas my wife got me a 42" wide 8 drawer tool chest. We are renting a house & when the kitchen was remodeled they used the cabinets in the garage. I put my tool chest on it not thinking how heavy it will get. So one morning I went out to the garage (detached) & found the cabinet collapsed & the tool chest leaning on the side of the Monte. At first I thought someone tried to get in the window & caused it to fall over. But what had happened was we got a bunch of rain & the floor in the garage got wet, the sides of the cabinets (particle board) soaked up the water like a sponge & it just gave out. Im sure my tool box weight had something to do with it too. The car has 3 places where the the paint is scratched down to the metal. No dents, I'm just glad I, or more importantly, my kids weren't in between it & the car when it fell. So Saturday, in the Virginia 100 degree heat, I got rid of the kitchen cabinet & built a bench that will hold the toolbox. I didn't take a pic of the before mess, wasn't thinking. But here is the new bench. I think it is plenty strong now, I think I can put my 1500HD Silverado on it. It is 7' long 32" front to back, & 44" tall. I know, kindof high, but I needed it high to get my welder under it. And I am 6'3" so it isn't bad for me.
