      69 nova

Picked up a 69 nova to day. I have been collecting a few parts in anticipation on finding one. So far I have bought speedtech torque arm kit, currie narrowed rear and axels. Also have a engine shop building an Ls 408.

Woot woot! Any Nova in the right hands is a good Nova, that one looks like a great project start. Keep progress posts coming, and welcome to the forum!

I plan on doing the Speed Tech suspension in my Nova too, good choice. https://www.pro-touring.com/showthre...hlight=trogdor

Made a lot of progress. It's ready for the rotisserie and blasting. Also got the speedtech torque arm and 9 inch painted.

Nice! That's gonna be a killer ride when you're done. Too bad you didn't get to do a before and after drive test. At least you'll see a huge appearance difference. You gonna keep it yellow?

I like what's in your garage!!

Thanks. Had to jump it to get it on and off the trailer, that's all I drove it. Thinking silver or a dark maroon, not sure yet. Interior will be black either way. It will have the speedtech front sub also.

I posted up a sweet Nova we just finished up on our facebook page today. Check it out, it's about the prettiest red I've seen. Not candy apple, but a nice darker shade of it. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Speed...377479?fref=ts

In my humble opinion, the 68-74 Nova and the 70-74 Pontiac Ventura are two of the best cars for building a strong, fun street machine...

      69 nova

Not that I disagree, but why are they the best (to you)?
1972 Pro-touring Cutlass S in the works. Currently installing new chasis components from BMR & C5 brakes. Frame should be back under the car by the winter '05, hopefully. Bodywork to start by end of fall '05.

Hmmm, you could always two tone it using both colors. Bottom half silver, top maroon. Novas all have a great body line for splitting things up.
