Cool..I might have to go this year..

I was watching some Youtube vids from last year, looks fun. I did notice that the bigger cars were like threading a needle. I should tell my daughter to come out with her little Mazda 3. I bet that thing would be a kick in the pants. Can we ask them to open up the cones a little for the big boys?

What a great day..Lots of nice people. My first Autocross Event.

I'm happy to say that RSX didn't complain one time in the day during its beating. Unlike myself as I was sun-raped..lol..I was warned!

I did learn that when the gas tank starts to get low, the back end is very tail happy in the tight fast transitions. I had hard rear springs (425's) which I use at Willow (neutral balance on the big track), but probably should have loosened up the back a little (swaybar and/or 300-350 springs) for the tighter autocross.

Looked like Erick (surfwagon) had a great day..I have to say, his El Camino is the best handling truck I've ever seen.

Here's a clip of my best run - beside the cone I clipped..

Funny, I was thinking the opposite, courses like that make me cry . I need to get with the for the next run and help with the course design. Something like this would be fun:

Thanks Ron for the words....I did have fun the course was diffidently better than the previous years, James we actually changed it a lot when we all got there. Your layout looks fast but you could only run one car at a time...

I should have finished my sentence by saying "compared to the GG peanut courses."

AAS courses at Marina where I run occasionally are top notch.
