well i'm pretty much a ford guy but my DD is a mopar, well since chrylser bought em out in 80's anyway. 93 jeep cherokee (2 door,2 wheel drive), i keep having silly thoughts in my head of building it as PT type vehicle someday, but i don't know yet, i'm kind of torn between making it handle and making a pre-runner out of it. for a vehicle with solid axles front and rear it actually does pretty good in the twisty stuff. one day me and a buddy of mine from work were messing around in the parking lot at work, where we have a pretty nice little chicane, and he actually put his brand new mustang in the curb trying to keep up with me and he's a pretty good driver, so that's what got me thinking about PT'ing it.
Do you have a 69 or 70 stang? If so then check out www.69STANG.com

BB69 - Excellent project putting a new Hemi in a dart. Sweeeeeet! Can I ask the question. Why the 999 trans?

By the way the trans in a bucket trick stinks, my shop teacher did the same thing to us with a t-10. Not nice, but we got 'er rebuilt and back together.

Keep us posted on the Dart!

Finally i went and did it.
Now i'm the happy owner of a '72 Challenger Rallye:

This pic is probably taken by the last american owner.
This Challenger is adopted by a norwegian now.

Bought it from a guy who imported it from California, then just let it stand still at his place for seven months before he advertised it for sale, and i leaped sideways to catch it.

PT'ing will follow as my economy allows it.
I'm new to this thing, but i would like to learn.
Please be patient with my ignorant questions.
I'm only trying to find good solutions before i go ahead with a project.

When we were kids, my brother had a '66 four door Valiant. The previous owner had swapped in a 275 Camando and four speed that came from a wrecked '65 Barracuda.
Talk about a sleeper. It went like stink. Pitty the fools . Unfortunately, mother nature reclaimed the minerals (It rusted away)

Hi Mike, welcome. I own a 2nd Gen Camaro I have nearly completed this year,it is on the streets and winning in some shows.I recently purchased a '70 Challenger and am getting ready to install a 440w/727 in it,I'm presently taking the body down to bare metal and hoping to have all of the body work and prep finished before summer ends. It's a great looking car, even in the shape it's in. I just think they have almost unlimited possibilities when it comes to building a killer street car,and that is what this car will be when it's finished.

You'll find there are lots of people that enjoy different types of cars, and own and build them too. You're among friends here.

      For the Mopar guys:
I have seen the Mopar product that Jason carries-nice stuff. He carries alot of stuff that we don't. Mopar guys may find themselves right at home in the performance world if they spoke with Jason.

      Very Nice....

That is a sweet Charger Mr. Angry! I hope mine turns out to be as cool looking as yours. I like your choice of wheels also. I need to figure out how big a front sway bar my 70 can handle as they pass through the front K-member on a 70 Charger and B-body.

What size of rear sway bar do you have?
What is it like to drive...does it still feel and handle like an old car???? I would like to know what its like and what I should modify to make it handle as nice as possible.

      Any suggestions?

It looks like there may be some people who could help me if I write a MOPAR Pro-Touring book.

      Nice iron!

In the process of building a 65' formula s cuda pro-touring for my wife, almost got enough prts together to really get going......all I need is a 273 block. A commando would be even better........
