How to adapt Lokar throttle cable to the firewall?

I have a lokar cable that Im going to use on the LS1 but not sure what to use to adapt it to t he firewall, the factory hole is square. Do you just make a plug to fill the hole an drill a hole for the cable? or can i just buy something?

      Hope I make sense!

Are you painted already? If so, a thin fender washer on each side of the firewall can cover the big hole and you are done. Ideally a piece of aluminum with a male square on the back to locate on your existing hole and keep things from sliding around.

If you are not painted, weld a patch in and drill a 5/16" hole.

FWIW, I just called Lokar and suggested that they machine an adapter block for these applications.....we'll see what happens. Even if they decide to do it, it is doubtful that it would be ready before you needed it so don't hold your breath.
