      New Ford Guy

I am a Newbe and like all the information shared in the diffrent threads. I am from NC, and I am starting a new '70 Mustang Sportroof build. I have been spending alot of time on several Pro touring sites and I have not revealed any clues into what I am fixin to build. It will not be a 100K Sema type build, but a self-funded do almost all of it yourself build.

My victom is a 1970 Graber Special (Graber Green) that is a rolling shell. No anything, just the way I wanted. It needs alot of metal work, and is going to get as many tasteful mods as I can imagine. On of which will be 2005-09 Mustang tail lights (got an idea, and will post pics as I go). Goodmark mini tubs, Dynacorn body pannels (got the entire rear last Friday) 335-30-18 rears, 8.2 deck stroker, tko-600...

I am still needing to figure out what type of suspension to go with, there is only 500 diffrent options, I'm shure it will be fun. This is just the start, and the plan is starting to take shape.

I suppose FORD is not so popular. If Cheverolet had made the Mustang instead of the Camaro, then I would be a Chevy type of guy. I personally like all of the AMERICAN Muscle!

Welcome! It's not always the fastest moving forum on the internet, but there's a wealth of invaluable knowledge and discussion concentrated here. I registered here a couple or so years ago, and still haven't gotten it together to even begin a project (life's unpredictable sometimes). I've been doing a lot of lurking and reading here, of the copious pic-filled threads chronicling members' car builds. I've learned some things that have changed my thinking about this type of thing, so I guess it's sort of a good thing that life has delayed my spending. Regardless, I received a warm enough welcome when I registered here, so I'm happy to pass that along. I'm sure you'll find it very hospitable here. I look forward to seeing your '70 Mustang take shape. Good luck!
