      Hi,

I was thinking of deleting the roof mount mirror and opting for a BMW (3 or 5 series) auto dimming mirror, glass mount - loads on ebay nice and cheap, food for thought......

That maybe an option, just wasnt sure mounting on the glass would set the mirrior too low or more obstructive, was hoping for pics and opinons of memberws who have switched to a glass mount.

      i like your idea though...

I've got some pics of the auto-dimming mirror in my '69 Camaro at http://picasaweb.google.com/barryfrise/camarostereo . The wiring fit nicely through the stock mirror's mounting boot.

That looks pretty good bman. Might be stealing that idea for use on my car if you don't mind

It's a little expensive now (I bought mine about 7 years ago or so).
