I hear ya, sometimes "already have" is the answer. I come across BBC stuff all the time, let me know if you ever want some. I am also wholesale with Brodix if you want to go big time.

OK, guys. LOOOOONG time, no updates.
Been in and out of work 2018 & 2019 and then my computer ate all my pics. Obviously the car sat. I'll try to keep things in correct timeline order and post pics as I recover them.

First off, I sent my headers out and had them coated. I went with black, as in the early 80's there weren't a lot of options for coatings other than high temp black or white paint. I found out RAM now has a lighter than stock weight steel flywheel for my Force 10.5 clutch, which originally came with a really light aluminum flywheel, so I called Mike Norica iat RAM. He agreed the new steel flywheel would be a better choice for a street car than the alumimnum and he swapped with me for nothing more than the cost of shipping. In my book, exchanging items on a 4 year old purchase is pretty damn good. That's excellent customer service.

Last fall I had a chance to drive a friend's G-body with with a Threepedals.com pedal assembly. Compared to other G-bodies I've driven with the same pedal setup I already had, it was like a new car clutch. I liked it so much better than the current setup, I spoke to Josh Korsower at Threepedals and ordered one up. To stay with my "Factory" theme, they're going to set me up with OEM pedal pads. Their normal production units have late model Camaro pads.

Another really nice thing that happened to me is my friend basically "gave" me a used EZ car lift. Someone gave it to him, I asked him if I could borrow it when the times comes to do my trans and he dropped it off the next weekend. He said he doesn't think he'll ever use it. i really like it beacuse you can access the car from the side, it goes higher and you can stop it at any height. Can't do that with a lot of the other brands.

Those are my Grandma's plates. They were on the '67 Nova SS she had before the 'Bu. I was supposed to get the Nova when I turned 17, but it got hit in a supermarket parking lot and my Dad didn't like the idea of my Grandma driving a unibody car that had been hit and repaired, much less a kid with a lead foot and 220 horsepower. The Nova was sold and replaced by the Malibu.

I sure hope NJ wil let me keep those plates. I hear different things. One person told me it's no problem, but I'll have to pay a fee for each year it wasn't registered. One person told me they'll make me turn them in and get new ones with the same number. Not sure I believe either. A third person tells me they'll let me use the old number, but buy new plates. If that's the case, I'll just leave the old plates on. Mrs. LS6 still has the same plates she's had since college, my FIL has had the same ones since the 70's. Who knows...

Time for my almost annual update.
Been in a good solid job for two years, Mrs LS6 has a much better job now, too. Been picking away at things, still hoarding parts. I got some more stuff, nothing really noteworthy, though. Little stuff. I just started getting back into the swing of things when we decided to convert the two first floor bedrooms to a small master suite, so a LOT of stuff was shoved into the garage. Still "digging out", but making headway. I got some freebies from work, two really nice 36" x 24" x 72" locakble cabinets and two really nice storage shelves on casters from work. Makes for less space in the garage, but the shelves can be rolled into the driveway to make room. The cabinets look HUGE due to the phone camera. YEs, those are my fingers on the left side of hte pic of the shelves.
