      Help me choose gas cap!

      I'm currently looking for a gas cap for my Firebird -74 but I have a hard time to decide...
      The reason I'm replacing the one behind the licence plate is because the ATL cell sits higher than the stock tank. Therefore I need to place something on the quarter panel or in the lid (like the porsche below)

      A nice example on cap installed on the fender is this Camaro;

      No matter what cap I decide to go with, it'll be recessed into the body

      What I would really really like to have would be this kind of cap, however dry break systems are quite hard to use on street cars. lol

      So... what should I choose of the ones below?

      1: A plain air tank cap. I'm allergic to the ones with visible fasterners so this is the one...

      2: I know it's 60s... It looks good, but I think my car will be considered too "new" to make it fit nicely... Maybe I'm wrong though

      3: Same manufacturor as the nascar dry break system above. As close to a dry break system as I'll probably can come in looks;

      From a Honda MC from the 90's. If you go to a MC breaker you can get a damaged tank with mounting flange that you can cut out.

      I recently picked up these locking aircraft caps on ebay for a decent price. New ones sell for about $160 each, got them both for about half that. Have to make a receptacle but I already have something figured out.

      Roger; Nice caps, specially the text around them is really cool. Guess you'll keep that?

      Olav; Yeah, I know. However, I'm looking after something without the visible fasteners...

      The ones who voted seems to like the third option. I like that too... I think.
