      81 Malibu 4-door from MI

I'm the proud owner of an '81 Malibu 4-door that I use for auto-x, drifting, and track days. I originally was looking for a 2-door, but the prices for them here in the rust belt led me to accepting a 4-door. In the end it was a great choice, because people seeing a 4-door throwing down on the track. I attended my first two track days at Gingerman Raceway last year and had a blast. I hope to hit even more this year as well I'm going to get a bit more serious about my autocrossing. The drift stuff is something fun to do when I have a few tires laying around that are in need of destroying. My 'Bu is a text book example of a car built on a budget. It's not much to look at, but then again I'm a believer in "function over form". Anyways, I'm busy with all the upgrades I'm making as well as the ones I may still do (depending on time and money, like always....). Yup, I've made it at least one of the days (typically a 2-day event) at the GVSU autocross for the last 3 or 4 years.
