1st gen Camaro Chassisworks front subframe/header fitment?

I just bought a Chassisworks front subframe for my 67 Camaro and the only problem I think I may run into is the steering shaft. I have been told I might run into problems with my headers clearing the steering shaft? I have a brand new exhaust system with Dynatech long tube headers.



Can anyone comment on any problems or past experiences with this erea?

Can't comment on the Chassisworks subframe but I know the Dynatech long tube headers fit the DSE subframe with no issues.

I just dont want to have to spend 1k on the Chassisworks headers if I dont have to.

THAT is a big reason I went with a DSE subframe. Do you have access to an old set of headers to test fit? Maybe a local speed shop that will let you test fit headers? I purchased three sets of headers from Summit before I found a brand that I was happy with. They all fit just crappy quality. Anyway, Summit took the first two sets back no questions asked.
