Are you going to the Run To the Coast event this weekend?

If so we want to hear from you. I will be walking around with a microphone looking for people to talk to about the event for our next podcast.

I have to ride up to S.F on Friday but will be round tripping it so I can be at RTTC on Saturday if all plans go as I have them in my head.
The rule is measure twice and cut once. My problem is I still measure with a mic and cut with an axe!

Will be there Fri & Sat. First time with the car (and me) on a track so I'm both excited and nervous! If I can come away with both me and the car in one piece and NOT be wearing any pink hat..... I'll call it good Actually the main goal of the weekend will be to gain as much input from folks to help sort the car (and driver). If I don't find some PS2's for the front by Thursday, I'll be in the exhibition class anyway 2-day mini-thrash starts tomorrow...

Heck yeah.... Road Touring Customs is bringing 3 Camaros down this weekend including my bucket of bolts. Can't wait!

And Gregg - the pink hat is a rite of passage - and we got gift cards last year for wearing it. LOL

I'm signed up both days and my cousin is signed up for Saturday, but we're both having troubles.

For my cousin, his 2011 Mustang's transmission decided it didn't want to be a 6 speed anymore. He has an E36 M3 that he's building as a track car that he could use, but he's waiting on brake parts that won't arrive in time.

As for myself, I entered both my Mustang and Trans Am. Thankfully, the Mustang will be good to go with a fluids change (and some way to mount a fire extinguisher.) The Trans Am on the other hand still has a lot I'd like to do to it and I had to go catch a bad cold the week before RTTC. Right now, I have the right front spring sitting in the upper subframe bucket wrong when I hurriedly changed lower control arms a week ago. The Trans Am has had heating issues ever since I built the engine in '08, so I'm halfway through getting an E92 M3 pusher fan stuck on the front of my radiator. I also have body bushings, g bars, and headers that I hadn't gotten around to installing; I'd be happy with just the G-bars at this point. Then there's the usual more mundane precautions with fluid changes. I need to rig up a fire extinguisher mount for the TA also.

If all goes right, I can take off work and get the TA ready in a last-minute thrash. I'll drive the Mustang Friday, then I'll loan the Mustang to my cousin for Saturday while I drive the Trans Am. @_@

I'm in for all three days, if me and my car hold together. Trying to get it finished, had to add a roll cage because of being a convertible. Oh, and a few other 20 things..

      See ya there,

      Bob

I've been here since Sunday night with the support truck but I work in the area so I had to be here anyway. The 5 cars come in on Thursday and Friday for racing.
