II Much Fabrication Fuel Vent installations

These came in 15 minutes ago. I apologize for the crappy cell pics, it's the easiest and quickest way to get them on here.

The vents were wonderfully packaged and while the boxes were beat to hell the parts survived unscathed. Assembly was simple and took all of 5 minutes after the hole was cut. I gambled a few weeks back and drilled the holes before we had the paint touched up in this car and it paid off.

A bit of frosting on an already great cake for us was that by adding a slot from the 2 1/2" hole from the vent we were able to slide the remote cansister for the Afco shocks up into the trunk to keep them away from moving parts and make them easier to get at.

This car will be at MotorState if anyone wants to see these installed.....it'll be the red 69 Camaro with nothing dripping off the back of it.

Got any pics showing the undercarriage? Also you wouldn't happen to have a g-link (4-link) rear suspension in that car?

Donny's car has a DSE Quadra-Link in it. The crossmember of the Q-link is an ideal spot to mount the Fuel Vent.

The Camaro is for a customer, I don't want people to think I own a Camaro, it's about 30 years to new to be cool....HA! It is DSE equipped. I should put together a quick build thread for it.

I will get some better pictures next week.....it has been a busy day.

I have an early prototype on my car and it works amazingly well. My fuel cell's happy, my fuel pump's happy, and my wife's happy. This is a must-have product for efficient venting and garage odor elimination.

What is the latest availability estimate?

I'm expecting replacement parts for the shipping damages any day now (I've been checking every 20 minutes or so ). Then 3 days turn around for coating (we've moved the coating operations to a local facility) and then off they go. We ought to be shipping them in 6-10 working days.

The caveat is that our entire first run is probably sold out. The next run will probably be available in August -- we are already in the schedule for that, along with a few more runs through the end of the year.

What if the stock tank doesn't have a provision for a vent?

AFAIK, the tank in my Nova just has a vented cap.
