Electric Fuel Pump for my carb'd LS

I previously posted this message in the carburation section and didn't get anything, so I'm trying it here..

So I'm in the market for a electric fuel pump for my carb'ed LS motor. There are some new units from Edlebrock and Holley. Any suggestions from experience which is the quieter one? Please feel free to recommend anything! The engine is bone stock at the moment.

The new Holley pumps are q u i e t... we saw them at SEMA, shot a video where they are running the whole time and you can't even hear them.

I've had a lot of luck with Mallory pumps. They have a 110gph that's internally regulated and a 140 with external regulator if you have big hp.
The Mallory pumps have been much more reliable than any others for me.

I've used many aeromotive street/strip pumps. They have a long service life and are quiet. The holley hp pumps are quiet also but I am unsure of service life. Not sure on the edelbrocks.

any electric pump that would have ran a gen I block will run the LS block also, as for quiet I have had some luck with the low end holley that dosnt require a regulator (holley 12-801-1 around a 100 bucks) the regulated holley was noisier, and I have the new holley yet to install but it runs about 200 bucks, and the new quit holleys require a bypass regulator, that no one mentions till you open the box and read directions, you can use a factory walbro 255 there quite and you just regulate them down

FWIW I'm using a Carter Hi-Perf fuel pump. It's quiet, just use some sort of isolation between the bracket and where you mount it. Carter makes a kit for this. There not exotic, but they perform well and you can get them just about anywhere in case your ever caught out with a breakdown.
