I'm not familiar with "Drag/Slalom/Brake Challenge". The name suggests this is not just a fancy name for the normal speed-stop challenge - someone want to enlighten me?

Sounds fun... if I had to guess it sounds like a slalom inserted in the middle of the speed stop... hence the name?

Thanks Albert. This will be my first time out with the car so it's all new to me and I am bound to learn a bunch no matter what ("Long time listener - first time caller").

Yeah - I can guess from the name just had not seen it before. Anything that diminishes the chance of flatspotting my tires first time out is a good thing lol.

Gregg, when we went out to El Toro in Feb. they had set up a similar sounding challenge, it was like a slalom-U turn-drag race. Maybe this will be similar? I guess we'll find out soon enough!

Haha, quite the opposite actually. Rupp and I were out there for a "lapping day," but Nathan at OCRC was helping to host another "lifestyle" event aka Newport Beach types playing around in daily driven McLaren SLRs and Ferraris - so yeah, about as far as you can get from Pro Solo, but they did look like they were doing some fun stuff out there.

Can't thank you guys enough for making the drive to come out here. You know I can't help but show up to anything within a few hundred miles. At some point I'm going to make it back east, err south for an event.
