Who knows ball bearing turbo's???
I recently recieved a brand new dual ball bearing PT67 turbo for my Buick V6 project motor. The shaft has no axial play, but if I grab both ends (turbine and comressor) I can "rock" the shaft about .010" to .015". The blades dont rub, but DAMN it's close. Is this because there is no oil in it? I certainly dont feel comfortable with this. I will be calling the vendor, but wanted to get some other input on this from some of you turbo veterans.

Sounds fine to me honestly. Plus realize it will act like a gyroscope when it's spinning and keep it self well centred.
