QA1's extremely tight going into Speed Tech lower arms...67 Camaro

Assembling my front end, the QA1 shocks will not go thru the hole in the Speed Tech lower arms and align with the tower hole due to the angle of the arm when the car is raised. Looks like I am going to have to wait until I slide the sub under the car, then roll it on the lift. Anyone else had issues getting these thru the S/T arms without scratching them up real bad? Looks like if the hole in the lower arm was about .100 larger they would make the angle and go into the upper pocket without getting in a bind. Not a show stopper, just a little inconvenient in that to install or remove them I have to have weight on the wheel, taking the old jack-it-up and change them process out of the picture.
