Anyone have contacts inside Hooker? I need side pipe headers.

I'm hoping that someone here on PT, perhaps someone in the aftermarket industry, has a contact person within Hooker who I could contact. I'm looking for a set of 1st Gen Camaro Hooker side pipe headers but they were discontinued several years back. My guess is that Hooker probably still has the jigs and could build a set if I could contact the right person to get the ball rolling. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here is a pic of a set of 1st gen Hooker side pipe headers that I'm talking about.

      Steve,
Good luck... Unfortunately Hooker has become one of those "big companies". Most of their headers are made outside the country. I've tried getting in contact with someone there several times. Hope you have more success than I did.

We had someone here at work talk to them directly about sidepipe headers for a BBC 68 Camaro and they said no, they would not make them. Even though they supposedly have all the info/plans/jigs for them. Looks like they only have them for Corvettes now.

Give Kook's a call. I don't know if they have the actual side pipe, but they do have all the bends you would need to get to the side. Then it's just a matter of finding the right size/look pipes.

      I went to Kook's web site and I didn't see a header for a 1st Gen Camaro w/SBC. Maybe I missed it.

      Steve,
I think Scogin was suggesting that you build the headers (from bends) out to the side pipes. I have a feeling that will be your only choice at this point. You might still be able to get the Vette side pipes from Hooker and adapt to them...

Contact DynoDon on here. He works for a header manufacturer and does a lot of R&D stuff.
