Possible New Product Question

They guys I work for a company that is a wholesale manufacture of electronics and wiring harness for the aftermarket. I have been working on building a set of LED taillights to go with my Marquez housing.(they will work in a stock housing also)These are for my 68 Camaro. Now that I have the circuit board finished I would just need to change the shape/ layout to work with any other taillight. What I have so far is a taillight that will allow the user to pick from four different sequential patterns or 1 non-sequential pattern. I would offer them in a set for standard taillights, RS taillights, or Standard with an LED board for your reverse lights as well.



We are trying to build a high quality product with more options than what is currently available while still coming in at a lower cost. I'm just trying to get an idea from you guys what type of market there is for this product before investing a bunch of money into it.

We could also do custom taillights/reverse lights for other vehicles if the interest is there. I would need to build 10 sets or more to make them affordable.

Let me know what you guys think. Also, a few of the sponsors here already retail our products. These would be available from them or if we start doing retail sales on these we will check into becoming sponsors as well.

Being that this is a corner of the market I highly deal with, there is a lot to consider when making these, some of which you may not have thought of yet. I have been with Digitails since day 1 and love their product, but there are a number of cars not yet touched still. You are jumping into a flooded market place as I can name 6-8 led tail light companies and probably more. Price point, quality, and marketing will be everything to make it in this field.
