      Z06 Test Drive

Today I was given a chance to take fleet vehicle out for a short drive. If could describe the car in one word, awesome!!! At an idle the engine runs smooth and clean at 650rpm.At a slow speed very tame and clean. But step on the throttle and it comes alive at 2500rpm and just pulls and pulls. Steering is predictable the brakes are awesome again. Handles very well without to harsh of a ride.
Sorry if this seems a little notchy but I’ve still got knots in my stomach. What an awesome car.
In the words of Ferris Bueller, if you have the means I suggest you pick one up.

How cool is that Chris. I have been waiting for a report from someone who has driven a new Z06. I have the fever bad, but will wait til the first wave of over-retail paying idiots get theirs and the supply catches up with the demand.
      Thanks for sharing.

      Chris,

Way cool!! I'm sure you've driven an '02-'04 Z06? How does the car compare in terms of acceleration and handling? How are those brakes? I'm jealous!

I like most Vettes, but the new Z06 has to be the pinnacle of Vette-dom for me!
