      68 Firebird Navigation

I am in the planning stages of a 68 Firebird build. I am tring to decide on how I want to install a NAV unit. I will have an aftermarket A/C using the orginal vents. I have not decided if I will use the orginal controls or use the ones supplied from the aftermarket A/C kits. I also have 4 round gauges to install. I have thought of mounting the gauges in the console and the NAV unit in the dash. I really cannot find any pictures of any NAV units in a first GEN. Any ideas or pictures will be great.

Here's a nav unit in the dash of a '67 Camaro we're building, the Vintage Air vents will go above, and the controller below. It's tricky to make it clean, but we think this one is going to be slick.

That is exactly what I had in mind. I can not believe no one makes this stuff. Looks really good. Thanks for the help.

We can build you the insert if you'd like, we'd need the radio face dimensions, (this is 2DIN), what controller you'd like to use, and what vents.
