      Turbo 4.0L Rambler coming together

This is my first thread on the site but have been working on my Rambler for quite a while.
I am at about the 75% stage of the latest update that includes a 60mm turbo, narrowing the rear, and as wide a tire I can stuff between the rolled quarters and factory leaf springs.

The car was first put together as a family car since my wife wanted a car with a back seat for our son. It was to the point she did not want him riding on the floor of our AMX anymore.
I finished the car hours before leaving for Power Tour 2007. The car made the Long Haul with no problems.
      Then.

Simply cool man. Very nice Rambler. I'd really like to someday P-T an AMX or Hornet.

When I park at a local show, I usually park with the AMCs. My grandpa & uncle are a couple AMC gurus up here in Rockford, IL. Maybe you know them. Here's a link to see his Hornet: http://alohacode.com/store/1973-amc-...eo-recap-remix. His car was on the 2010 NAMDRA AMC Nationals t-shirt.

      Thanks for the comments.

The Hornet is one good looking car. I did not make it to Cordova this year for the AMC Nationals. We were on a drive in the wife’s car up in Wisconsin.

Here I am at Cordova Jan first at Hangover fest. Her car is not the quickest but it sure does cruise.
