Well, I did a little more mockup on the Rod Doors kick panels, this time on the driver's side. I'm not sure I can live with the location of the speakers. The headlight dimmer switch is going to be tough to reach, as well as using the foot brake.
I'm going to give Screamin' Performance a call tomorrow and see about using a set of theirs.
Here are a few photos. Dimmer switch is just sitting on top of the carpet for a reference point:
