I figured I'd try to finish up the brakes by installing the rotors, calipers and connecting all the brake lines. I went to mount up the rotors and...Houston, we have a problem...
My rotors don't fit on the on the new axles. I called Strange Engineering to let them know the issue. It turns out they went on the Wilwood website and looked up the brake kit number I gave them, and Wilwood lists the center register as 3.06 for my rotors. It looks like Wilwood must have just changed the register size without issuing a new part number. From the Wilwood site:
Strange is sending out new registers for me. Unfortunately this puts a huge damper on any more progress this weekend. I was really hoping to be back to roller stage by Monday. I still can't do any other work on the car until I can roll it in and out of the garage.New! Rotor has been updated to new 3.06R register and will allow use of register ring adapters.
