      Weld Through Primer- Effective?

      Does anyone utilize a weld through rattle can primer?

      I have some plate to add for forward strut / down bars as well as various other structural additions, and I would like to know if anyone actually uses weld through primer on areas they will never see and environmental concerns?



      Being that these areas will be completely welded and sealed off will having them left as untreated/unfinished metal create any problems in 5-10 years?
