      Carmichaels, PS

Anyone live in this area of the country? Just curious to know what it's like. Is it country out away from everything? What's there to do when not working? How close would I be to good riding/driving areas with turns and elevation changes? I'm really getting tired of Kansas, and while I'd love to go back to Colorado, it may be easier/better for me to go to PA. I'm just not sure what it's like. Any feedback from people who are near there would be appreciated. Especially motorcycle riding info. I've got two bikes with me now since they are easier to move than a car. Riding in Kansas sucks and I'm not willing to move to another sucky riding area, lol.

      Thanks

Great, I didn't catch my typo. What state has the initials PS, lol?

What's wrong with Kansas? Although there is not a lot around Liberal. I mean you know it's flat when you can drive out of one town and see the next town 30 miles away. Having been born and raised in KS I'm not comfortable when I have to drive in PA. The roads in PA are just too convoluted for me.

Kansas is boring. Maybe if I was over towards Wichita or Topeka I'd be happier but I'm not. I literally do nothing when not working. I feel like I'm wasting away. I want out and I want to go towards mountains. I think I could suffer more easily in Carmichaels more easily than Kansas.

try north georgia or se TN or W NC, all have great weather, great mountains and riding areas with lots of curvy roads and elevation changes, and lots to see and do.

lol, I'm from GA and am here right now on vacation. I lived in Athens for 11 years and was born in Savannah where I lived for 19 years. If I return to the SE, it'll be the mountains or Atlanta. However, I'm staying with my company for now and they aren't in the SE. Carmichaels, PA is busy now and could be an option for me which is why I was asking. It's going to be hard for me to head back to Kansas next Wednesday I already know but I gotta return to work and my cat.

      Thanks

I've been through Kansas, and it can be beautiful, but I prefer hills and trees and forest. GLW the move if you can, but I wouldn't want that snow!
