One day, someone who is only a kid now is going to end up with this car and build Doc Hudson from Disney/Pixars CARS...... very cool car! Kinda makes me want to get the fender skirts out for the Galaxie.....

Fender skirts were in the trunk and are included! I think his would be an awesome car to build as a calling card for an interior shop.

What is the story behind this car? Where was it recovered from etc?

Last registration appears to be over 50 years ago in 1959 in north Carolina. Plate is still on the car. This car was to be used as a parts car for a more valuable two carb version that was going to be restored. The owner passed away before the project was started and both cars were left at the restoration shop. The other car was sold to someone in Venezula.
