Door speaker install in 69 camaro?

Has anybody got good detailed pics of their door speaker installs? Factory AC car so I can't do kick panels. Searched but didn't find anything. I have Focal 165v30 to put in. Thanks.

I don't know where the pics went. I installed door speakers in my 68 Camaro. What info are you looking for?

I recommend component speakers and putting the tweater higher up on the door or A? pillar.

I installed Focal 165V30's in my 69 Camaro doors this afternoon. I'll snap some pics tomorrow. I kept my tweeters next to the woofer. In my El Camino, I experimented the tweeter placement and liked it better next to the woofer. That's just my personal opinion though.

Thanks Marty. Just trying to get some ideas of how to incorporate the pods into the deluxe door panels nicely. Right now I'm thinking of covering the pods in a white houndstooth to match the seats.

I'm interested in suggestions, too. Is there room behind the panel or will I have to step it out a bit to get the magnets to fit?

Those turned out awesome! With the deluxe door panels I ended up doing custom kick panels instead. I'll post pics once I get them actually installed. I'm working on the subbox now, built right into the car with the 10s in the package tray and amp rack underneath, keeping some trunk room for the road trip cooler, tent, clothes, etc.
