Ron, i always wanted to ask you where you got your car building experience? Did you build/work on cars for a living at some point, or have you always just been a home hobbyist? Most people dont have the courage to built chassis at home. I know i dont and im a welder/fabricator for a living. You just seem so at ease cutting sh*t up!

Never been a mechanic, I'm really just a home hobbiest, but have been wrenching since I was 15, thats like 8 or 9 years of automotive experience, do the math.LOL

Seriously though, its only metal, if you screw it up, you can weld it back together, don't be scared, cut it up!

OK. I guess the chassis table taking up a whole bay in your garage made me think you did it for a living in the past. You must have done alot of home projects to have that thing in there!

Yeah Justin, I tubbed my first car when I was 16. I have built alot of cars through the years, and have a long list cars I want to build before I croke.

Got the front clip setting there, have to deside if I like it or not. You can see how much I've taken off the front end.

Another great build. How much is the wheelbase lengthened over stock?

Doesn't the front look a lot like your mustang? Have you got a slight fixation on that look?

Yeah, the wheelbase grew 7", but yet I'm shortening the hood about 3", something doesn't seem right about that.

Well.... if it looks a little like your stang, then you have good taste. Your stang is a truly unique piece.

That front view is starting to show just how BA this thing is. At some point I need to come give you a hand just so I can touch it while the inspirational juices are flowing. I've got a couple of future projects floating in the air right now that might benefit. You are it the point in the AMX build that is my favorite. I'm truly enjoying all your hard work. That is not much help is it?

Ron ,Ken is right you got to stick with the raised hood, the front view is just screaming ATTITUDE!

The stang was incredible but the AMX gonna be even cooler (read Hotter )
The engine better be up to the look of this car, what do you have in mind?

It will be LS powered, but I've haven't nailed that down yet.

Did some measuring tonight, the car is 48" tall, about the same as the Mustang, but it is 12.5" shorter then the Mustang, and the 66 Mustang wasn't considered a big car back in the day. It has a 105" wheelbase vs. the Mustangs 108". Experimental ? wonder how it will all work.
