      Agreed.

Ron, thanks for taking us on the journey with you. Your threads are freakin' awesome. And the fact that they move along at such a rapid pace just makes them even better.

I can't wait to get a ride in this thing at RTTH or where ever you have it out to play.

Seriously Ron, you could subsidize your build costs be selling tickets to your shop when you have a build going on...

People used to think I worked fast when I had 30 hours a week to devote to the car hobby (pre-children) but you are really gittin' her done. I would like to see some more x-bracing int he floor though, I know you have that torque arm in the way, but when I was doing my chassis' in Grape analysis, the x-bracing in the floor from corner to corner was huge for stiffness. YOu have those nice solid steel floors on the outer rockers but they are not tied together. If it were me I'd bring a tube from each "floor boxed corner" and bring them as close into the trans x-member as possible. Probably not even possible on the front but there is definitely room in the rear. Just a thought.

It looks like some kind of Batman car.

Ron, this build is keeping me just as entertained as your Mustang did! Awesome work. I love the fact that is an AMX, which you almost never see modifed much to begin with, and it has tires on the front that are twice as wide as what is typically seen on the rear!

How much rear wheel travel do you think you'll be able to fit in there?

Should be 4" up and 3" down, at least that is what I designed it to be.

It really is just a modified version of the 2002 Camaro, really simplistic, durable setup. Of course the underslug frame is not mandatory to run this setup, I just thought it was really rigid for the chassis, and kinda cool.

      Watts link question?

      Hey Ron,
I was wondering if you would talk more about the watts link and how you have designed it. The other question I have is where did you get the "football" link on your watts link? Any info/pictures would be great. Thanks, Ron BTW Thank You for all of you build pictures between both the Mustang and the AMX. You have inspired me to get out in the garage and start learning how to fab all the ideas in my head! Truly inspirational!!

Oh I'm loaded with ambition. But in the words of the great philosopher, Jeremy Clarkson:

      It's ambitious, but rubbish.

You know how it is, logistics are everything. This is the first build I've ever done that has had any 2 hands but mine working on it, but I can't lie, Domonic (DC Performance) has gotten the cage done in 1/4 the time it would have taken me, and I'm loving the work they did. My wife is a saint, my biggest fear in life is that one day she will wake up and realize what a putz I am. This car is rolling pretty fast, but amazingly its another fairly cheap build.
