Hi everyone. Im a high school senior and have a 69 Camaro that im currently fixing up. The previous owner had done some mods that take away from it being an all original car, such as swapping out the engine and replacing the slushbox with a 4 speed manual, which I prefer. Plus it wasnt an SS or Z or anything like that so restoring her to the way she came from the factory isnt what i'm planning on doing. Heres a pic of it.

Thanks for the welcome guys. As far as future plans for the car, Id like go get her handling decent and putting out some nice numbers and then Ill do the asthetic part. Paint and interior and all can wait until after the mechanical aspects are all sorted out. The Pro-touring route appeals to me not only for the look and handling, but also because I think itd be cool to prove people wrong when they say an old muscle cars only good for going fast in a straight line.

I'm well on my way to proving that not all old muscle cars will go fast in a straight line...or at all!
