      SEMA Tickets

      Hey guys,
How does one go about getting tickets for the show, I was always under the impression that it was closed to the public. Does anyone have extras?

It's closed to the public, you need to somehow be involved in the automotive industry. You can't really have "extras" per say since you need to register each individual member, through a company. Maybe someone can help you out with the tickets though.

      Join SEMA

I think everyone here should think of joining SEMA. They do a lot for the sport/livelyhood of the members.

      sema

I'm a tech at a bmw dealership, so it's not a problem for me, but I know people who have used a shop name of a friend or whatever. You just have to use it to sign up. It's not like they're going to follow up on a million people.

Andrew, no you don't HAVE to join...but it's always a good idea to contribute to our hobby and the people that help support it.

      re:

lol, man I am a college student barely making it as it is. Although I always donate money to a variety of charities.

hmm...I would love to come to SEMA, but don't know if it would be too late to get rooms and plane tickets for a decent price.

      Andrew,

There are still plenty of places to stay. We are staying in Henderson actually and it's about a 20 minute drive to the convention center (90% surface streets and not freeway) and the prices are reasonable. My girlfriend and I are still under 21 (19 and 20) so the place where we are staying is perfect. There's a nice mall across the street, a Best Buy, and pretty much any type of food joint you can imagine.

As far as plane tickets, no idea. Vegas is only a 3.5 hour drive for me.

If you want to get in you can registers as business that is what I did. I am now the owner of B&B Machine and Engineering or at least I will be at SEMA this year. I need to make up a few business cards and will be good to go. Here is the link
